The “Noonnoppi Education System” provides students with learning contents that are designed to meet the needs of
each individual student. Each program is carefully tailored to the learning level and specific needs of each and every student regardless of age or school year. An accompanying diagnostic test system helps a teacher understand the level a student is at and decide on the appropriate content to be used to teach the student.
Noonnoppi teachers are qualified and dedicated educators, who have developed their teaching skills for effective one-to-one teaching. These qualified teachers are also educational consultants working under the systematic management of Daekyo Noonnoppi. Daekyo has introduced a comprehensive assessment system including diagnostic, development, and oral assessments that identify and shape the best education program for each student.
Daekyo has always invested heavily in the training of Noonnoppi teachers and operates a R&D facility to develop effective learning materials. Currently, over 12,000 teachers at around 450 education centers throughout Korea and overseas are delivering quality education using the Noonnoppi Education System
Daekyo’s business in Korea is based on a unique teaching philosophy called Noonnoppi. The philosophy is drawn from the educational principle that students learn at a pace of their own and a teacher can teach the best and most effectively when he or she understands the learning needs of a student.
Deakyo’s philosophy, thus, empowers teachers with the teaching tools necessary to help the development of a child's education, nurturing and providing students with the skills needed to succeed in today's rapidly evolving world. Daekyo develops teaching materials for students by incorporating such factors as educational psychology, teaching environment, learning habits of children, teaching skills and cost-effective way of delivering education to a child. We have created a R&D system that is unique in terms of developing teaching materials
Noonnoppi’s education philosophy is based on Daekyo’s 30-year history of educational know-how, refined management philosophy, child-oriented education and the intimacy of its student-teacher relations. Its education philosophy paves the way for an open education based on innovative systems. We believe that no child should be left behind. The Noonnoppi education philosophy is based on these principles.
Noonnoppi education helps students realize the potential in each of them with its focus on individualized learning at the student’s own pace. Our system is not a replacement of formal school education a student must go through; rather, it is a system that is intended to reinforce what a student learns in school and to provide supplementary education if the student is lagging behind his peers in a formal education environment. Noonnoppi education calls for teachers to provide personal attention.
Our research has shown that students under our education system do better in school because he or she has received personal attention of a teacher who helps a student understand the subject he or she is learning. The core philosophy is that a student needs the personal attention of a teacher in a one-on-one environment. We provide that personal attention and take care of each student so that he can accelerate his own pace of learning. In Korea and in some other countries, we provide home-based learning or a teacher visiting a student’s home and teaching in an environment the student is comfortable with.
In learning centers, we train our teachers to give as much personal attention as possible. We have developed our teaching materials in such a way that a teacher can give personal attention to each and every student in the class despite the existing differences in the learning paces and aptitudes of students. The learning process is therefore built on a one-on-one basis between student and teacher.
