    To execute the management philosophy and vision presented in the full text, we stipulate the following responsibilities and obligations by stakeholders that the company and its employees must comply with. These responsibilities and obligations form the basis for decision-making and actions and demand the employees’ full compliance when they perform their duties, and we hereby pledge to practice them.

    Chapter 1. Responsibilities and Obligations towards Customers

    The spirit of customer-oriented business activity is to satisfy and impress customers by offering the best educational products and services so that they can lead a healthy and happy life.

    · Always provide customers with the best quality and service, keeping in mind that customers are the source of company growth and existence.
    · Think and practice decision-making and behavioral judgment in all business activities from a customer's perspective.

    Chapter 4. Responsibilities and Obligations towards Partners

    Establish mutual trust and pursue common prosperity with business partners by ensuring that all transaction procedures with them are fair, transparent, and free.

    · Understand that building mutual trust with business partners is a common interest, and act in good faith to put it into practice.
    · Share information related to mutual business cooperation and use it effectively, thereby increasing synergy in cooperation and maintaining an efficient cooperative relationship.

    <Fairness and Transparency of Transaction Procedures>

    · Grant all companies equal qualifications to become our partners.
    · When selecting a partner, make sure that the selection procedure employs transparent and fair screening standards based on the quality and price of the products and services they provide as well as their financial status.
    · For all transactions, sufficiently negotiate transaction conditions and procedures at mutually equal positions.
    · When making a payment to a partner company, unless there is a justifiable reason, the payment shall be made at an appropriate time in accordance with the legal obligations regarding payment and its conditions.

    Chapter 5. Basic Ethics of Employees

    Daekyo's employees shall agree on the company's management philosophy, corporate vision, and corporate value, and participate autonomously in its management. Never blame others for our actions, and fairly handle our duties for personal growth and company development in accordance with future-oriented and customer-oriented thinking and ethical value standards.

    <Sharing Corporate Philosophy>

    · All Daekyo members shall agree with the company's management philosophy, core values, and vision and make them the highest values and principles in carrying out their work.
    · Understand that our daily decisions and actions are directly related to the company's reputation and trust, and act in accordance with the company's ethical values.

    <Basic Job Ethics>

    · Comply with all laws and regulations, company regulations and the Code of Ethics related to business processes.
    · All employees shall carry out the duties assigned to them in a just and fair manner, and make continuous efforts to become the best experts in the education service industry.
    · If a conflict of interest arises between the company and its employee, the employee shall make decisions and act in the best interests of the company.
    · If an employee received money or valuables under unavoidable circumstances, he/she shall return it immediately to the giver or, if it is difficult, report it to the Ethical Management Center.
    · If an employee violates the laws, Codes of Ethics, company rules, etc. or finds such violation committed by another employee, he/she shall report it to the superior and the Ethical Management Center in accordance with the company's violation-reporting procedure.

    <Honest and Sincere Business Process>

    · Employees shall charge the company for expenses incurred in the course of their work, and shall not claim expenses that are not actually incurred or incurred for personal use.
    · Employees shall honestly and faithfully record and report work-related information and content that occur during the course of work..
    · Employees shall not negatively affect the interests of the company by distorting or delaying the execution of company regulations or laws in the name of custom practices by using their position or authority.

    <Attitude Towards Co-workers>

    · Do not make unfair requests to other employees.
    · Do not discriminate against other co-workers based on gender, origin, religion, disability, etc., and respect each other's personalities and observe courtesy.
    · Do not engage in any acts that impair the work environment, such as sexual harassment.

    <Prohibition of Participation in Other Industries or in Stakes of Other Stakeholders>

    · Do not work as an employee (a director, advisor, consultant, etc.) of another company managed by a stakeholder without prior permission or approval of the Company.
    · Do not engage in other industries that interfere with the business of the company.
    · Do not acquire stocks of companies managed by other stakeholders.
    · If an employee or his/her immediate family member including his/her spouse has acquired stocks of a stakeholder's company, he/she shall report it to the Ethical Management Center without delay.

    <Prohibition of Insider Trading and Unfair Practice>

    · Do not use undisclosed information obtained in the course of business from inside or outside the company for personal gain or use it for stock investment. Also, do not provide such information to a third party to benefit the third party..
    · Do not engage in unfair trade practices such as market price manipulation of securities by using internal or external information acquired in the course of business or colluding or conspiring with others.
    · Do not receive or provide money or valuables from or to stakeholders. However, the following cases are excluded:
    - Souvenirs and promotional materials provided to an unspecified number of people at official events
    - Congratulatory or condolatory money or goods exchanged within the allowed scope of social norms
    · If an employee has received such money or goods in an unavoidable situation in the relationship with stakeholders, he/she shall return it immediately to the giver or, if it is difficult, report it to the Ethical Management Center.

    <Prohibition of Receiving or Giving Treats or Entertainment from or to Stakeholders>

    · Do not receive or give treats or entertainment from or to stakeholders. However, the following cases are excluded:
    - Meals below KRW 50,000 per person provided for business performance (meetings, official events, etc.)
    - Treats and entertainment expenses approved in accordance with the company's standards for the use of treats and entertainment expenses (regulations on authority delegation)
    · If a stakeholder is subject to the Improper Solicitation and Grafting Act, he/she shall comply with the corresponding laws and regulations.

    <Prohibition of Illegal Acts Such As Abuse of Authority>

    · Employees shall not engage in unfair transactions with stakeholders (employees, customers, partners, etc.) using their superior position.
    · Employees shall not unfairly abuse their power for personal gain.
    · Employees shall not demand benefits such as employment in the future from stakeholders or accept offers of benefits.

    <Protection of Company Property>

    · Protect the company's physical properties, intellectual property rights, trade secrets, etc. from risks, and do not use the company's property for private purposes under any circumstances.
    · Do not provide the company's assets to a third party to have a negative impact on the company's interests.
    · Do not use the company's assets (fund, knowledge, information, copyrights, office supplies, etc.) and working hours for personal gain or use.

    <Prohibition of Illegal Leakage of Company Information>

    · Do not disclose the customer's personal information to inside or outside the company without his/her prior approval.
    · Do not leak company information and secrets acquired in the course of business to the outside without the company's permission or approval.

    <Prohibition of Infringement on Intellectual Property Rights of Others>

    · The company owns the right to intellectual property rights related to products or services developed in relation to an employee's job while he/she works for the company.
    · When leaving the company, employees shall return to the company all company properties, including documents, diskettes, and CDs, containing company- or job-related information.
    · Do not copy illegal software other than genuine ones to use it for the company's business, and comply with the terms of use of the software.

    Chapter 6. Responsibilities and Obligations towards the Community and the State

    In business activities, the company shall abide by the laws and fulfill its duties and responsibilities as a member constituting the local community and as the nation's key manufacturer in order to develop talented human resources, form a sound educational culture and advance the education industry, thereby contributing to the prosperity of the local community, nation and world.

    <Fulfillment of Corporate Social Responsibility>

    · The company shall always contribute to the advancement of education by studying new knowledge and the education industry and creating a sound educational culture.
    · As the company grows into a sustainable enterprise through the creation of honest profits, it shall create the value of lifelong education and nurture true educators to contribute to the development of society, national economy, and culture.
    · The company shall actively support social and volunteer activities such as social service and disaster relief, and foster the overall environment needed for employees to participate in such activities.
    · The company shall faithfully play a role in contributing to the development of fields of studies, art, culture, and sports that can make people in the society feel rich in their mind.

    <Compliance and Fair Competition>

    · The company shall follow all laws and regulations as well as supervisory regulations, and furthermore, respect and comply with the laws, ordinances, customs, culture, and values of all regions where it operates its business to contribute to the formation of a healthy culture of local and national societies.
    · The company shall comply with all laws related to environmental protection, strive to better the environment, and make efforts to prevent wasteful consumption of resources.
    · The company shall not engage in any act that harms the national economy or goes against the national sentiment.
    · The company shall comply with domestic and overseas anti-corruption and fair trade laws and contribute to the establishment of a fair competitive order.
    The specific standards of conduct and procedures in this Code of Ethics may be determined and managed as separate guidelines.

    1 Efficiently use the company’s assets and maximize shareholders’ value through ethical management and trust management based on management transparency and accountability. 2 Do not take any unfair advantages or engage in deceitful acts by receiving money or valuables from business partner or providing entertainment to them. 3 Protect company’s asset from risks and do not use them for personal gain. 4 Perform work in a transparent and honest manner, and do not engage in any acts that impair the work environment, such as discriminatory treatment among employees, formation of factions, and unfair solicitation. 5 Do not dishonestly delay or distort the matters or information that occur during the performance of work to negatively affect the company’s interests.
